Top 10 2025 Possibly: The 2025 Anime Recap
2025 was a wild year for anime. We had everything from high-budget sequels that finally ended our suffering to brand-new shows that made us question our life choices. Here are the top 10 animes of 2025 that you probably binged while ignoring your responsibilities.

10. Apocalypse Hotel
Genre: Sci-Fi / Comedy

The Vibe: Humans are gone, and a hotel is being run in the ruins of the world. It’s cozy, slightly dark, and features the kind of customer service you wish you had in real life.

9. Orb: On the Movements of the Earth
Genre: Historical / Drama

The Vibe: A show about people in the 15th century trying to prove the Earth goes around the Sun. Sounds boring? Wrong. It’s a high-stakes thriller where being a nerd can literally get you set on fire.

8. Dan Da Dan: Season 2
Genre: Supernatural / Sci-Fi / Rom-Com

The Vibe: Aliens, ghosts, and teenagers losing their... uh, "precious items." It’s high-octane madness where every episode feels like a fever dream you don’t want to wake up from.

7. The Summer Hikaru Died
Genre: Psychological Horror / Supernatural

The Vibe: Your best friend comes back from the mountains, but he’s actually a cosmic horror entity wearing your friend's skin. It’s the ultimate "it’s complicated" relationship status. Unsettling, beautiful, and deeply weird.

6. Gachiakuta
Genre: Dark Fantasy / Battle Shonen

The Vibe: A boy gets thrown into a literal trash pit and decides to fight back with "graffiti-punk" energy. It looks like a high-speed car crash in an art gallery—in a good way.

5. City The Animation
Genre: Comedy / Slice of Life

The Vibe: From the creator of Nichijou, so you know it’s chaotic. It’s about a girl who owes her landlady money and the absolute absurdity of city life. It’s the funniest thing you’ll see until you check your bank account.

4. TO BE HERO X
Genre: Superhero / Action

The Vibe: This Chinese-Japanese collab blew everyone’s minds with animation so smooth it makes butter look like sandpaper. It’s a superhero tournament where the stakes are high, and the visuals are even higher.

3. My Hero Academia: The Final Season
Genre: Superhero / Shonen

The Vibe: After about 400 years, we finally reached the end. It’s 20% fighting for the fate of the world and 80% characters crying while remembering their middle school years. Bring tissues and a "Go Beyond" spirit.

2. The Apothecary Diaries: Season 2
Genre: Mystery / Historical / Drama

The Vibe: Maomao is back, and she’s still the only person in the Imperial Court with a working brain cell. It’s basically CSI: Ancient China, but with more poisonous snacks and a very thirsty handsome official.

1. Solo Leveling: Season 2 (Arise from the Shadow)
Genre: Action / Fantasy

The Vibe: Sung Jinwoo continues his transition from "Weakest Hunter" to "Local God who refuses to die." If you like watching a man beat up monsters while looking suspiciously handsome in a suit, this is your peak.
